Sylvette Rosario Tellado
Senior 3D Character Artist
About Me
Holis! I’m Sylvette Rosario, a Puerto Rican 3D Artist specializing in characters and I have more than 6 years of experience in the games and animation industries. During my trajectory, I’ve contributed in native and client projects such as VR/AR experiences for pc and mobile, animated commercials, music videos, and pc games. I prefer working with characters because I love how each of them can carry a different narrative and personality portrayed into their design, and I love being part of the process that brings them to life. Creating diverse characters so players and viewers alike see themselves in, is also something I strive for.

This is my take on Nina Modaffari's concept based on Bryan Bedford's character, Ezri. I fell in love with the design as soon as I saw it, and I just had to try my hand at her! I really enjoyed working on her and I hope ya'll love her as much as I do ♥

I sculpted this character, whose concept belongs to Nina Modaffari. I loved their design so much and had so much fun sculpting it! For sculpting I used ZBrush, Maya for some of the tools and the foundation of the pouches, and Marmoset Toolbag for rendering.

This is Tito, and I was tasked with sculpting him in Zbrush, then retopologizing in Maya and texturing him in Substance Painter. Tito is a character from a kid's Puerto Rican band and tv show called Atención Atención. The project was to create an animated commercial video to advertise Pampers using the show's characters. Concept art for the character were done by Celina Garrido.

For a theater commercial I scultped in Zbrush this model of a Jíbaro statue from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. I retopologized him and did the UVs in Maya, while the textures were done by a very talented former coworker Angel Fuentes.
